  1. My first Weber memory is Herb and Larry walking me to get my haircut from our house on the edge of town to downtown Ottoville when I was probably 4 years old which would have been 1962 or 1963

  2. Herb and Judy walking the Rahrig kids down the road to their grandmothers old house singing Puff the magic dragon. I thought Herb had written the song, by the way. We picked cat tails on the way back and colored them.

  3. Since I grew up with the family I don’t think I can say my “first” memory, however one thing I always remember is that I was very shy as a kid and everyone was so loud at the Weber gatherings. I think everyone was trying to talk at once!
My mom says being an only child it was a bit overwhelming to join the family. She also said she had a hard time telling apart Len, Ken, and Larry!(remember, they were young when my parents married)
Kenneth always said that even though the family was huge when he first met most of the clan it reminded him of his extended family back home. All were close.

  4. There are many but a highlight for a little 4 year girl was to be the flower girl in Ken and Bettie’s wedding.

  5. There are many memories and like Maria being in Grandma’s house and everyone is talking.
However, a highlight for a little 4 year old girl was being the flower girl in Ken and Bettie’s wedding.

  6. Maybe not my first memory but a favorite – sitting around the big kitchen table playing Spoons with all the cousins. So much fun!

  7. Not one specific one but I clearly remember playing with the little toys and cards in grandma and grandpa’s sitting room while the adults talked.
