I believe it should be mandatory that all high school students have a personal finance class–How to manage credit cards/credit scores, how a mortgage works, applying for financial aid for college etc. If I was younger–I would love to teach this!!!!
I feel basic manners and etiquette should be taught. Things like proper eating manners, not wearing a hat while eating or even indoors. Holding doors for someone else, etc. we have lost some of the basics. By the way, schools that I have been associated with have classes on finances.
